Why use The Chore App?

The Chore App is designed to create lasting habits by engaging children in doing more chores everyday. The latest research on behavior and habits have shown that game mechanics are extremely effective at driving and sustaining new habits. The problem with other chore apps, is that they try to “gamify” chore management systems. The Chore App was made with one purpose in mind… To engage children in helping out around the house everyday!

The Chore App focuses on the little repetitive chores that can be done regularly, without a set schedule; chores like vacuuming, dusting, or cleaning rooms. This allows The Chore App to manage the chore distribution and doesn’t require daily management from parents. You just need to remind your children to use the app!

Please note that we are working on adding scheduled chores into the app as well. We just want to make sure that we’ve perfected the current systems before adding more.

There are over 100 pre-built chores and rewards to choose from which makes setting up the app a breeze! Can’t find a chore you’d like to add? Now worries, you can make your own custom chores and rewards too. We have over 170 chore and reward icons to choose from and you can always request a new icon by contacting us through the app.

Automated Chore Distribution

You read that right. Just like good game designers, we've created an algorithm to handle when your chores get done. Just set it and forget it. All you'll have to do is marvel at how clean your house has become.

See App Statistics For Each Child

Know exactly what your kids have been working on and how productive they are. You can also double check their chores and tell the Chore App when a chore isn't done properly.

Network Between Devices (coming soon)

Multiple devices and different brands of phones and tablets are not a problem. You can manage the chore app from all of them.
